About DISTINCT

At DISTINCT Technologies, we help the world’s most iconic brands, sports leagues, and entertainment venues convert the energy of live events into actionable intelligence. We are the premier data capture and lead generation solution powering experiences for the biggest names in the consumer world. From the Super Bowl to the World Cup, to music festivals and in-store activations, DISTINCT captures millions of consumer touchpoints each year and integrates directly into business critical enterprise platforms.

Our technology enables brands to enrich first-party data, surface real-time insights, and, through AI, turn that data into predictive, automated strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are entering our next stage of growth and are seeking a Vice President of Platform Engineering to lead the engineering organization building DISTINCT’s next-generation platform. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will own the architecture, delivery, reliability, and security of the platform that captures, models, and activates live event data for the world’s largest brands.

DISTINCT has moved from bespoke, per-client engineering to a true platform: a canonical data model spanning every brand, persona, venue, and activation we touch; a next-generation operator and customer portal delivered as SaaS; tested disaster recovery; burst-load handling for live activations; and a growing set of enterprise security capabilities. Your mission is to carry that platform to enterprise scale: lead and grow the in-house platform team, manage our external development partners, and deliver a system that stays reliable while 100,000 people engage at once.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Delivery

  • Own the technical roadmap and delivery of the core platform: the canonical data model, data capture and enrichment services, the operator and customer portals, APIs, and the integration layer that connects DISTINCT to enterprise CRM, CDP, and marketing platforms.
  • Drive the completion of multi-tenant client isolation, dedicated test and demo environments, and the self-service capabilities that let customers manage activations without engineering involvement.
  • Make disciplined build-vs-buy and architectural decisions that reduce technical debt and increase development velocity.

Reliability, Scale & Security

  • Own platform reliability: SLOs, observability, incident response, and the live-activation monitoring practices that keep high-visibility events running flawlessly.
  • Scale infrastructure for high-burst workloads and simultaneous enterprise deployments while managing cloud cost efficiency.
  • Lead platform security and compliance engineering, including the controls, documentation, and evidence enterprise diligence and security reviews require.

Engineering Organization

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing platform engineering team, with a deliberate plan to insource core expertise while managing external development partners effectively.
  • Establish engineering standards and practices: code quality, testing, CI/CD, release management, and documentation.
  • Partner with Product, AI Engineering, and customer-facing teams to sequence work, set realistic commitments, and deliver predictably.

Qualifications

Required

  • Platform Engineering Leadership: 12+ years in software engineering with 5+ years leading engineering teams at a B2B SaaS or data platform company, including ownership of architecture, delivery, and reliability for a multi-tenant production platform.
  • Data-Intensive & Event-Driven Systems: Deep experience designing and operating event-driven, data-intensive architectures on modern cloud infrastructure, including data modeling, streaming or high-throughput ingestion, and API design.
  • Scale & Reliability: Track record of hardening a platform for burst traffic, high availability, and disaster recovery, with the operational rigor (SLOs, observability, incident management) to back it up.
  • Security & Enterprise Readiness: Experience delivering the security architecture, controls, and documentation that Fortune 500 procurement and InfoSec reviews demand.
  • Team Building & Vendor Management: Proven recruiter and mentor of engineering talent, with experience building an in-house team while managing outsourced or contracted development partners.

Preferred

  • Experience with CDPs, identity resolution, consent management, or enterprise marketing infrastructure (Salesforce, Adobe, and similar).
  • Experience processing media, video, or mobile-originated data at scale, including native iOS and Android applications.
  • Familiarity with the demands of live events: hard deadlines, on-site execution, and zero tolerance for downtime during an activation.
  • Prior experience at a growth-stage company transitioning from services-style delivery to a productized platform.

Why Join DISTINCT?

  • Work with global brands at the intersection of live experiences, data, and technology.
  • Shape the future of how brands and consumers connect by transforming fleeting live experiences into magic moments, predictive intelligence, and measurable results.
  • Lead the engineering of a category-defining Live Intelligence platform that has already proven itself at the World Cup and the Super Bowl.
  • Build the platform team and engineering culture at a company with proven market fit and clear demand from the world’s largest brands.

We are entering our next stage of growth and are seeking a Vice President of Data Science and AI Engineering to make data science and AI the core of how brands act on live event data. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will lead the team that designs, builds, and ships DISTINCT’s data science and AI products: the models, agents, and intelligent workflows that turn millions of real-time consumer touchpoints into predictive insight and automated activation.

DISTINCT already runs AI in production, including real-time AI dashboards at global activations, voice-driven data capture in our Operator mobile app, and AI-assisted analytics for enterprise customers. Your mission is to take that from features to a platform capability: an AI engine, built on our canonical data model, that enriches first-party data, predicts consumer behavior, generates insight in plain language, and triggers the next best action across the brand’s marketing stack. You will own the roadmap, the architecture, the team, and the outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Data Science & AI Product Strategy

  • Define and own the data science and AI engineering roadmap in partnership with the CTO, Product, and customer-facing teams, prioritizing capabilities that create measurable value for brands: enrichment, persona and audience modeling, predictive insights, conversational analytics, and automated activation.
  • Translate customer requirements and field feedback into well-scoped AI features, and pressure-test them with real customers before general release.
  • Lead the data science practice: persona and audience modeling, propensity and lookalike models, enrichment and identity matching, experimentation, and the statistical rigor behind every insight DISTINCT reports.
  • Establish how DISTINCT evaluates model quality, AI safety, cost, and business impact, and report on it.

Architecture & Delivery

  • Design and build the AI platform layer: model serving, retrieval and context management over the canonical data model, agentic workflows, evaluation pipelines, and the guardrails required for enterprise deployment.
  • Lead hands-on delivery of AI products, including large language model applications, predictive models, and real-time inference during live activations.
  • Partner with Platform Engineering and Analytics and Insights on data pipelines, infrastructure, security, and cost management so AI capabilities are reliable and scalable in production.

Team & Responsible AI

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data scientists and AI engineers, and set the standards for experimentation, evaluation, and shipping.
  • Define responsible AI practices for consumer data: consent-aware modeling, privacy, bias monitoring, and transparency that meet the expectations of Fortune 500 brands and their legal teams.
  • Represent DISTINCT’s AI capabilities to enterprise customers, partners, and investors.

Qualifications

Required

  • Data Science & Applied AI Leadership: 10+ years in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering with 4+ years leading teams that shipped models and AI products to production at a B2B SaaS or data company.
  • Data Science Depth: Strong command of statistics, experimentation, and predictive modeling on customer and behavioral data, including segmentation, propensity, and identity or entity resolution.
  • Modern AI Stack: Hands-on depth with large language models and agentic systems (prompting, retrieval, tool use, evaluation, fine-tuning where warranted) alongside classical machine learning for prediction and segmentation.
  • Production Engineering: Experience designing model serving, inference, and evaluation pipelines that run reliably at scale, with attention to latency, cost, and observability.
  • Data & Marketing Domain: Working understanding of first-party data, identity, consent, and the marketing and CRM systems where AI-driven actions land.
  • Executive Communication & Team Building: Proven recruiter and mentor of AI talent, able to explain technical choices and business impact clearly to executives, customers, and the board.

Preferred

  • Experience applying AI to marketing, advertising, CDP, or customer data use cases: enrichment, propensity modeling, next-best-action, or audience insight.
  • Experience with real-time or streaming inference, voice or multimodal capture, and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI governance, privacy regulation, and security review processes.
  • Prior experience at a growth-stage company where you built the AI function from an early foundation.

Why Join DISTINCT?

  • Work with global brands at the intersection of live experiences, data, and technology.
  • Shape the future of how brands and consumers connect by transforming fleeting live experiences into magic moments, predictive intelligence, and measurable results.
  • Own the data science and AI strategy for a category-defining Live Intelligence platform with real production data from the biggest live events in the world.
  • Build the data science and AI engineering team at a company where AI is the product, not a feature.

We are entering our next stage of growth and are seeking a Vice President of Ecosystem Partnerships to build and lead the partner ecosystem around the DISTINCT platform. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will own the commercial strategy for our Certified Developer Program and our technology and integration alliances, turning the platforms our customers already run (CRM, CDP, marketing automation, loyalty, commerce, and identity) into channels that extend our reach and deepen our value.

DISTINCT has launched a Certified Developer Program with 11 solution categories and more than 20 registered partners. Your mission is to convert that foundation into a revenue-generating ecosystem: recruit and certify the right partners, define the economics, build the co-selling and co-marketing motions, and make DISTINCT the standard way brands bring live event data into their enterprise stack. You will partner closely with our technical leadership, who own certification standards and integration architecture, while you own the commercial relationship and results.

Key Responsibilities

Ecosystem Strategy & Partner Program

  • Define the ecosystem partnership strategy: which platform categories matter most to our customers, which partners to prioritize, and how each partnership drives pipeline, retention, or product value.
  • Own the Certified Developer Program commercially: partner recruitment, tiering, economics (referral, resell, and revenue share terms), onboarding, and ongoing partner management.
  • Develop product-level alliances and platform integrations with CRM, CDP, marketing cloud, loyalty, and commerce providers that raise switching costs and expand DISTINCT’s footprint inside enterprise accounts.

Revenue & Go-to-Market

  • Build co-selling and co-marketing motions with priority partners, including joint value propositions, marketplace listings, and partner-sourced pipeline targets.
  • Package a partner-ready version of the DISTINCT pitch so partners can position us credibly without DISTINCT in the room.
  • Set and report on ecosystem KPIs: partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, integration adoption, and partner satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work with our technical leadership to align certification standards, integration paths, and security review with commercial priorities, and to give partners a clear, fast path to certification.
  • Bring partner and market intelligence to Product, Sales, and Customer Success so integrations are built where customers will use them.
  • Represent DISTINCT with partner executives, at industry events, and in the marketplaces where our customers evaluate technology.

Qualifications

Required

  • Ecosystem & Alliances Leadership: 10+ years in technology partnerships, business development, or channel roles at a B2B SaaS, data, or martech company, including ownership of a partner program with measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Platform Ecosystem Fluency: Deep familiarity with the enterprise marketing and data stack (CRM, CDP, marketing automation, loyalty, commerce, identity) and experience partnering with the major platforms in those categories.
  • Commercial Structuring: Proven ability to design partner economics and negotiate alliance, referral, and reseller agreements that create value for the partner, the customer, and DISTINCT.
  • Technical Credibility: Able to engage with integration and product teams on APIs, data models, and certification requirements, and to translate technical capability into commercial value.
  • Builder Mindset: Experience standing up a program from an early foundation in a fast-moving company, with the discipline to prioritize a small number of partnerships that matter.

Preferred

  • Experience with developer programs, marketplaces, or certification programs.
  • Background in experiential marketing, sponsorship, sports, or live events, or with the agencies and platforms that serve brands in those spaces.
  • Track record of partner-sourced pipeline contributing a meaningful share of company revenue.
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 brand marketing and IT organizations.

Why Join DISTINCT?

  • Work with global brands at the intersection of live experiences, data, and technology.
  • Shape the future of how brands and consumers connect by transforming fleeting live experiences into magic moments, predictive intelligence, and measurable results.
  • Build the partner ecosystem for a category-defining Live Intelligence platform from a proven foundation.
  • Join a lean, entrepreneurial leadership team where your program becomes one of the company’s primary growth channels.

We are entering our next stage of growth and are seeking a Director of Information Security to own security, privacy engineering, and compliance for the DISTINCT platform and company. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be our first dedicated security leader, responsible for protecting the first-party consumer data the world’s largest brands entrust to us and for making DISTINCT easy to say yes to in enterprise security reviews.

DISTINCT has already built meaningful foundations: tested disaster recovery, protected internal APIs, burst-load hardening, and a growing knowledge base of vetted security answers for enterprise diligence. Your mission is to turn those foundations into a mature, certifiable security program: own the controls, the evidence, and the audits (SOC 2 and beyond), lead customer security and privacy reviews, embed security into how we build and ship, and give our customers, partners, and investors confidence in how DISTINCT handles data. This is a hands-on role in a lean company; you will design the program and do much of the work yourself while building the team over time.

Key Responsibilities

Security Program & Compliance

  • Own DISTINCT’s information security program: policies, standards, risk assessment, and the control framework aligned to SOC 2, with a roadmap toward ISO 27001 and the frameworks our enterprise customers require.
  • Lead audit readiness and execution, including evidence collection, auditor management, and remediation tracking.
  • Own vendor and third-party risk management, including security review of the partners in our Certified Developer Program alongside our technical certification standards.

Customer Trust & Privacy

  • Lead customer security and privacy reviews: questionnaires, architecture reviews, penetration test requests, and data protection agreements, working with Sales, Legal, and Customer Success to keep deals moving.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on privacy engineering for consumer data: consent management, data minimization, retention, and data subject rights across the jurisdictions where our customers activate.
  • Maintain and expand the security knowledge base so the company gives consistent, accurate answers to enterprise diligence.

Platform & Operational Security

  • Own security architecture reviews and secure development practices with Platform Engineering and Data Science and AI Engineering: identity and access management, secrets management, application security testing, cloud configuration, and multi-tenant client isolation.
  • Run vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response, including the readiness plan for high-visibility live activations.
  • Manage corporate IT security: endpoint protection, identity and single sign-on, email security, and security awareness for a distributed team.

Qualifications

Required

  • Security Leadership: 8+ years in information security with 3+ years leading a security or GRC function at a B2B SaaS or data company, including ownership of a successful SOC 2 program.
  • Cloud & Application Security: Hands-on experience securing modern cloud-native, multi-tenant platforms: IAM, network and API security, secrets management, CI/CD security, and application security testing.
  • Enterprise Customer Reviews: Proven track record leading security and privacy reviews with Fortune 500 procurement, InfoSec, and legal teams, and turning them into closed deals rather than blockers.
  • Privacy & Data Protection: Working knowledge of consumer privacy regulation (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other U.S. state laws) and of privacy engineering practices for consumer and marketing data.
  • Builder Mindset: Comfortable as the first dedicated security hire: pragmatic, hands-on, able to prioritize by risk, and able to explain security clearly to engineers, executives, and customers.

Preferred

  • CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or other frameworks relevant to enterprise brand and commerce data.
  • Experience securing mobile applications, data pipelines, and AI or machine learning systems.
  • Experience in martech, adtech, or other consumer data businesses, or with the security expectations of global consumer brands.

Why Join DISTINCT?

  • Work with global brands at the intersection of live experiences, data, and technology.
  • Shape the future of how brands and consumers connect by transforming fleeting live experiences into magic moments, predictive intelligence, and measurable results.
  • Build the security program for a category-defining Live Intelligence platform trusted with first-party data from the biggest moments in sports and culture.
  • Join a lean, entrepreneurial team where your work directly unlocks enterprise deals and protects the company’s most important asset.

Our technology enables brands to enrich first-party data, surface real-time insights, and, through AI, turn that data into predictive, automated strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are entering our next stage of growth and are seeking an Account Executive to own the end-to-end sales cycle for enterprise brands activating at live events. Reporting to our Head of Enterprise Sales, you will be the commercial quarterback for a portfolio of Fortune 500 accounts in a defined industry vertical (Consumer Packaged Goods, Telecom, Financial Services, or Retail), responsible for prospecting, closing, and expanding six- and seven-figure agreements.

This is a quota-carrying, full-cycle role. You will sell directly to brand marketing, sponsorship, and data leaders, supported by a Customer Solutions Engineer who owns the technical solution and an Account Manager who owns the post-sale lifecycle. You will spend time where our customers activate: stadiums, festivals, flagship retail, and global sponsorship properties. Our largest customers are rolling out DISTINCT across entire operating units, and your job is to create the next one.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation & New Business

  • Run structured discovery with brand marketing, sponsorship, CRM, and data stakeholders to map how each account captures, enriches, and activates first-party data at live events today.
  • Develop account plans that identify the executive sponsor, the buying committee, the budget source (experiential, sponsorship, media, or martech), and the path to a multi-year agreement.

Deal Execution & Closing

  • Own the full sales cycle from first meeting through signature: pitch, demo, pilot design, proposal, pricing, negotiation, and procurement.
  • Partner with your Customer Solutions Engineer to scope pilots and proofs of concept that prove value quickly at a live activation, then convert them into enterprise agreements.
  • Forecast accurately and maintain rigorous CRM hygiene so leadership can see pipeline coverage, stage progression, and risk in real time.

Account Expansion & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work with your Account Manager to execute land-and-expand motions across brands, business units, and activation calendars within each account.
  • Bring the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering: document requirements, integration needs, and competitive intelligence in a clear, prioritized way.
  • Represent DISTINCT at customer activations, industry events, and partner meetings as a credible expert in live event data and measurement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Enterprise Sales Track Record: 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience, with a demonstrated history of closing six- and seven-figure agreements with Fortune 500 brands and consistently exceeding targets.
  • Brand Marketing Fluency: Experience selling to CMO organizations, sponsorship teams, or experiential marketing leaders, with a working understanding of how brands fund and measure live activations.
  • Full-Cycle Ownership: Proven ability to prospect, run discovery, build a business case, negotiate commercial terms, and navigate enterprise procurement and legal with minimal supervision.
  • Data & Technology Literacy: Ability to hold a credible conversation about first-party data, CRM and CDP integrations, consent, and measurement, and to know when to bring in a Customer Solutions Engineer.
  • Communication: High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to build trust quickly, run an executive meeting, and write a clear, concise proposal.

Preferred

  • Experience selling data, martech, adtech, or measurement solutions into consumer brands.
  • Existing relationships in Consumer Packaged Goods, Telecom, Financial Services, or Retail marketing organizations.
  • Familiarity with the sponsorship, sports, and live events ecosystem and the agencies that serve it.
  • Experience in an early-stage or high-growth company where you owned outcomes end-to-end with minimal process.

The Opportunity

We are entering our next stage of growth and are seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of our Enterprise Sales organization. Embedded directly within an industry account team — spanning verticals like Consumer Product Goods, Telecom, Financial Services, and Retail — you will bridge sales and product, using technical and business acumen to design and implement customized solutions for the world’s largest brands.

This is a forward-deployed engineering role. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with Enterprise Account Executives and Account Managers inside our largest accounts, translating ambiguous business problems into working solutions on the DISTINCT platform — often on-site, on tight timelines, and in the environments where our customers activate: stadiums, festivals, flagship retail, and global sponsorship properties. Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Forward Deployment

  • Serve as the embedded technical lead for your industry account team, owning solution architecture across the full deal lifecycle — from pre-sale discovery and technical validation through post-sale implementation.

  • Diagnose and solve complex technical challenges during onboarding and throughout the customer lifecycle, acting as the bridge between the client and DISTINCT’s Product Engineering teams.
  • Establish modern measurement foundations within customer environments, driving media outcomes and accelerating AI innovation across their first-party data.
  • Document repeatable solution patterns and build self-serve resources so successful deployments scale across accounts and verticals.

Sales Partnership & Revenue Impact

  • Partner with Enterprise Account Executives as the technical counterpart in the room, de-risking deals by proving feasibility, scoping implementations, and owning the technical close.
  • Support Account Managers in land-and-expand motions by identifying technical whitespace — new use cases, integrations, and workflows that grow DISTINCT’s footprint within existing accounts.
  • Present complex technical concepts credibly to audiences ranging from brand marketers to enterprise IT and data teams.

Product Feedback & Field Intelligence

  • Act as the voice of the field: synthesize customer requirements, edge cases, and integration gaps into clear, prioritized feedback for Product and Engineering.
  • Pressure-test new platform capabilities (including AI products and activation workflows) with real customers before general release.

Qualifications

Required

  • Solutions Engineering Experience: 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role — solutions engineering, forward deployed engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting — with a track record of designing and shipping custom solutions inside enterprise accounts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to build and troubleshoot integrations hands-on: REST APIs, webhooks, data pipelines, and CRM/CDP data syncs. Comfortable scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL) to solve customer problems quickly.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to map technical work to commercial outcomes, scope solutions against deal economics, and operate as a trusted partner to quota-carrying sales teams.
  • Field Readiness: High adaptability and composure operating on-site in live, high-pressure environments with hard deadlines; willingness to travel to customer activations and events.
  • Communication: High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive consensus across client and internal teams.

Preferred

  • Experience working directly with modern data stacks, MarTech infrastructure, or enterprise platforms like Salesforce and Adobe.
  • Deep understanding of how to establish modern measurement foundations that drive business outcomes and accelerate AI innovation.
  • Familiarity with the live events, sponsorship, or experiential marketing ecosystem — and the realities of capturing data where consumers actually show up.
  • Experience in an early-stage or high-growth environment where you owned outcomes end-to-end with minimal process.

Why Join DISTINCT?

  • Build repeatable onboarding playbooks, help center content, and self-serve resources so customers can launch new activations without waiting on us.

Value Realization & Retention

  • Monitor account health, platform usage, and data quality; intervene early on adoption hurdles and churn risk.
  • Lead regular business reviews with customer stakeholders that quantify ROI, highlight technical milestones, and align DISTINCT’s roadmap to the customer’s goals.
  • Own renewal readiness for every account in your portfolio, with a clear plan and timeline for each.

Expansion & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Identify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities from usage data and new customer requirements, and partner with Account Executives to close them.
  • Serve as the customer’s advocate internally: translate feedback, edge cases, and integration gaps into clear, prioritized input for Product and Engineering.
  • Support live activations when needed, including on-site or real-time monitoring for high-visibility events.

Qualifications

Required

  • Customer Success Experience: 3+ years in customer success, account management, or implementation at a B2B SaaS or data company, with a track record of driving adoption, renewals, and expansion.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable configuring software workflows and troubleshooting basic integration issues (APIs, webhooks, CRM data syncs); able to read a data export and explain what it means to a marketer.
  • Commercial Awareness: Experience carrying or contributing to a retention or expansion target, and the judgment to know when a customer conversation is a support ticket and when it is a sales opportunity.
  • Communication & EQ: High emotional intelligence with the ability to de-escalate issues, run a structured business review, and present clearly to both marketers and technical teams.
  • Operating Rhythm: Organized and proactive; able to manage a portfolio of accounts with overlapping event calendars and hard deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience in experiential marketing, sponsorship, sports, media, or live events, or serving brands and agencies that operate in those spaces.
  • Familiarity with modern data stacks and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Adobe, or common CDPs.
  • Analytical skills to turn product usage data into recommendations that improve customer outcomes and grow the account.
  • Experience in an early-stage or high-growth environment where you built process rather than inherited it.
